Snowy morning then sunshine and warmth for our walk along the Mendenhall Wetlands where we saw six swans amongst many other birds, what a treat!

Another sunny day for a walk on the docks before the cruise ships arrive soon. We already see the giant busses with their trainee drivers and hear the helicopter noise overhead.

Morning volunteer work at Salvation Army then afternoon visiting with friends at Pioneer Home and Riverview and listening to music. Evening at the Mendenhall visitors center for lecture on our invasive plants entitled Plants Out of Place.

Today's news
Juneau officially set the all-time record for winter snowfall on Monday, with a record 5.4 inches at the airport as of 11:59 p.m., putting the total since Oct. 1 at 201.2 inches, according to the National Weather Service Juneau. Juneau’s snowfall for the month of March is 69.2 inches, which is also a new record. Massage and PT then afternoon visit with friends.

And it just keeps snowing! Wonderful walk in the snow to the library then to Gold Town Theatre for showing of the annual film fest of the Juneau Underground Motion Picture (JUMP) Society in its 24th year, wonderful homemade ten minute films with Juneau connection.

Fun to attend the Spring Juneau Cubing competition, part of the World Cube Association, then visit to an open house where I knew the realtor.

Happy Equinox, hopefully spring will arrive soon, but no, it is still snowing with another ten inches predicted tonight and tomorrow. Morning volunteer work at Salvation Army then ice cream and music with friends at Pioneer Home.

Morning research at State library, perusing old photo collection of Winter and Pond (close to 5000 photos), amazing men who captured life in Juneau late 1890's and early 20th century...and it continues to snow...we are setting an all-time winter snowfall and cold temperature record.

Morning errands and had considered afternoon walkabout but with high winds, decided no. Petrol price went up 20 cents just before I arrived at the pumps!

Not a happy camper driving a friend to the airport in snow and fog, cannot even see the white road, then the sun appeared briefly in the afternoon for my drive back out the road for my massage.

Morning dry spell so decided to take car through car wash then afternoon rain then snow! Great small gathering to make Irish Soda Bread at the Makerspace location.

Morning volunteer work at Salvation Army then afternoon viewing of a few RootsTech seminars (annual genealogy conference in SLC) and then evening First Friday visit to galleries for art and snacks and visit with friends.

Found last minute that our yoga and lunch at the Senior Center cancelled due to snow so walked to the post office to mail my taxes! Evening free showing of film How to Poison a Planet sponsored by Alaska Community Action on Toxics...we are all poisoned with PFOS/PFAS!

Doing errands before the next snow storm. Eagle Creek has lifetime guarantee on their bags so had local sporting good store send it south to repair zipper and fetched it back today, yippee!

Beautiful snowy day with the ravens and crows perched in trees outside my window (black on white). Afternoon pizza at Island Pub and Pueblo Revolt play at Perseverance Theatre.
