Yoga and lunch at the Senior Center then estate planning seminar with local lawyer and nice snacks (coconut salmon and skewered chicken and fruit and cheese and crackers).

Four hours in the dentist chair from 7am for two new crowns. I probably got #3 in San Francisco over forty years ago, but only received #4 four years ago in Florida. They both had decay but thank goodness no need for root canal. It appears that the nerve had built a protective layer of dentine. I wish that I had never visited a dentist in Florida, they destroyed my mouth with poorly done crowns, root canal, extractions and night guards.

Wonderful performance of the Juneau Symphony entitled Virtuosity: Mozart's Figaro, Concierto de Aranjuez with local guitarist, and Beethoven's Symphony no 7. Another winter event where you meet all your friends!

Death with Dessert presentation on local historic murders. Both Ed and Betsy are longtime Juneauites and former journalists who have researched and written books on murders that have occurred in Juneau in years past, primarily before statehood 1959. In summer they do walking tours.

Morning volunteer work at Salvation Army then afternoon at Riverview Senior Center for their happy hour of snacks and to visit friends.

A dry start to the day so opted for walk in the wetlands instead of indoor yoga. Visit to the grand opening of the new building housing our credit union and of course spending time there chatting with many friends.

Decided to try out the yoga class at the valley pool, a good instructor but too many people for me. This class had about thirty folks whereas the other classes I attend are usually 8-12.

My morning chiropractor appointment also included a massage due to a cancellation, yippee! A very rainy day with heaps of ice everywhere.

A very rainy day so a shopping day to do my walking in the stores. Fred Meyer is doing a major remodel so many of us spend heaps of time walking from one end of the store to the other a few times just looking for stuff.

Enjoyed Winter Showcase of the Juneau Dance Theatre Fusion Dance Team performing a variety of pieces! Spent morning doing a bit of rearranging of furniture, finally getting permission from owner to toss old dried flowers (hydrangeas) that have been in vase for many years (a dirty mess to clean up) and then using that corner of living room to set up her computer desk that was previously stored in dark corner of second bedroom. Hopefully this will be much better for my posture!

A clear cold icy day for a walk to Kingfisher Pond and to finish first draft of taxes.

Yoga and lunch at the senior center then visit to art show that we missed at First Friday, sketches of several cabins on the local trails.

We had hoped for a drier day and it was in the morning for our walk at Sandy Beach on the Treadwell mine trail with gorgeous views across the channel then lunch at the Douglas Cafe and then walked out into rain, good timing! A friend had been in a commercial for the local coffee shop back in 1984 and she asked if I might find it...so contacted the original owner who is now down south and he said he left everything here. The current owner did find something that may be the original video but it is on an old master format videocassette so now on a mission to find equipment. I may have found someone who has been trying to revive Juneau history and plans to order a device that reads these old tapes. She has both a youtube channel and website named takufortwo.

Morning yoga and lunch at the senior center then dental cleaning, found I need new crowns and the prices have tripled in the past few years.

Warmer weather with rain has washed away all the beautiful snow! Started chiropractic sessions to see if it helps with the pain.
