Morning walk at Taylor Park where the alligators were busy swimming feeding on fish and the many egrets were looking on! Then visit with mum.

Morning walk at Walsingham Park where we saw the baby alligator again but no fish lure in his mouth this time. Helping my neighbor download books from the library on her new ipad and found that you can also download magazines!

Morning walk then last PT session, although the right shoulder has not progressed as well as the left due to extensive arthritis. Afternoon zoom gathering of our dna interest group.

Morning walkabout at Walsingham Park where we saw baby alligator with what looks like fish lure in his mouth. Then visit with mum then food shopping at Natures Food Patch, wonderful takeaway lunch at their hot deli.

Morning walk on the beach then a swim in the pool. They are replacing all the ceiling light fixtures in the clubhouse so pinched a few of the old fluorescent bulbs for our bathroom.

Morning walk of the neighborhood then cut and color of hairs with Donna! Afternoon visit to consignment shop and what they did not take, I dropped at the donation thrift shop.

Morning walk on the beach then stop at Earthfare then time for swim in the pool. I hired our neighbor's daughter to clean the bathrooms for me since my shoulder strength is still very weak. Afternoon organizing travels to Juneau with opportunity for new housesit.

Morning visit to orthopaedic surgeon office for shoulder followup then dental cleaning then walkabout at Loew's for fridge filter

Morning walk on 113th with the girls then swim in the pool. Spent time tossing several boxes of our mother's medical paperwork!

Morning walk to PT then time at pool then birthday wishes for our oldest resident at 103 years young.

Happy Mothers Day! Morning visit with mum then walk at Bonner Park then stopped at local shopping center where the required mask signs have been removed from the doors and about half of the shoppers are not wearing face coverings.
8 May 2021 Saturday - Largo Florida
Morning food shopping at Sprouts and Earthfare then a bit of time at the pool. Visit to local thrift shop to donate another set of mum's many sets of dishes where I had the teenage girl help me unload and unpack but then returned home to find she did not empty all the boxes...are all teenagers braindead? Afternoon walk to local pow wow festival...food and games and a midway full of rides!

Morning walkabout in the neighborhood then waited for the "bugman" who visits every two months to spray for pests...then he called to cancel, bummer, since I had rearranged my PT schedule just for him. Went to PT later which meant later hotter time at the pool.
6 May 2021 Thursday - Largo Florida
Morning walkabout in the neighborhood then drive to China Finders in St Pete to sell mum's Christmas dishes and some flatware. Because I had already driven this far south, decided to visit Boyd Hill Nature Preserve (which means driving through a bit of a dodgy part of town)...well worth the $3 entry to hike the trails. Before returning home I needed to stop at mum's assisted living to pay the hairdresser who was doing mum's hair today. Afternoon DNA seminar via zoom.
