31 December 2020 Thursday - Largo FloridaWarmer day today, morning walk in the neighborhood, then visit with mum at assisted living facility. Finally took the time to drive to local RV park and pay the $20 to dump my tanks. During normal travels I find free dump sites but can find nothing local for free. Because of covid, I have been using my van toilet rather than public toilets so it was filling up!

Morning coffee at the clubhouse then walk to Winn Dixie looking for egg nog for mum, but none to be found until next Christmas!

Morning walk on the beach with beautiful full moon setting then time at the pool. Decided to finally wash my van after three months. My right arm is now painful but managed to use my new left arm to get the job done.

Morning walk at Walsingham Park then time at the pool where water has dipped to 57 degrees.

Morning walk at Lake Seminole then drive to stock up at Sprouts but I am finding that this new store is not well stocked so visit to Publix also.

Wonderful morning walk on the beach then coffee at Gypsy Souls on the water before the big storm arrived for the afternoon and evening.

Morning walk at Walsingham Park and then gave my zoom meetings a miss for time at the pool...water is 60 degrees but sun is warm.
18 December 2020 Friday - Largo FloridaA very cold morning for our walk on the beach! Then my last left shoulder therapy appointment where I passed with flying colors for my discharge! Right shoulder therapy starts in the new year with possible surgery.
17 December 2020 Thursday - Largo FloridaMy mother is getting her hair done today so drove there for short visit and pay the hairdresser who had just returned from getting the covid-19 vaccination (she also works at the nursing facility). They are only giving this to the nursing home folks, not assisted or independent living yet. We found out later in the day that a friend of hers from this condo complex who had moved to her ALF died last evening just a few days shy of her 94th birthday.

Weekly morning Koffee Klatch at the clubhouse then walk to library and post office then drive to newly opened thrift shop and Arden's medical supply store. A very cold and clear day!

Morning walkabout at Lake Seminole park....instead of walking the local neighborhoods every day, we are trying a new park, although not new to me but new to the two ladies with whom I walk, and they are from here!

Morning followup doctor/physician assistant appointment for shoulder...my left shoulder on which they did the surgery is doing fine....but the right shoulder is now really in pain.....so took xray and had a shot and extended PT for right shoulder.

Another month arrives with a beautiful full moon for our morning walkabout...but much colder...overnight temperatures were in the 40's and high today in the 50's but sunny. Afternoon walk to physical therapist wearing my down parka.
