Move out day......and you always have more stuff to move than anticipated.....plus the cleaning.....I only hope that I receive my full deposit returned for all the work that I have had to do on this rental place! Plans are to camp and housesit in Juneau in August and back on the road south in September.

It started as a dry day but became very wet for our East Glacier hike with Brian Weed and the Juneau Hidden History group exploring the artifacts (off trail) of the Nugget Creek dam from early 19th century.

Drove Jan to the airport for her return to Utah and I joined the Saturday group for easy hike on the airport dike trail in the sunshine!

Tour with Adventure Bound to Tracy Arm Fjord to view both North and South Sawyer glaciers.....and we saw a bear and whale and heaps of harbor seals.

13 July 2015 Monday - Juneau Alaska
A ride out North Douglas highway before returning to Douglas for a picnic organized by State retirees at Sandy Beach then a walk along Treadwell mining area then chat with Alaska Canopy zipline folks but no ride for us on the zip today.

A very wet day for our drive to the end of the road with many stops enroute, the last being a walk at the Mendenhall Glacier.

My friend Jan arrives from Utah for a visit.....a clear afternoon for walk downtown and ride up the trams for views of the channel.....and the only clear day during her ten day visit!
