Planning to hang out here in Florida for mum's birthday at end of January then Roadtrek rally in Orlando for first week of February....then start heading west again....maybe via very southern Texas!

Finally getting warmer today! Patricia and I had a great lunch near the beach and walked the beach collecting shells and visited the Suncoast Bird Sanctuary (she and I went to college together a few years back!).

Watching videos from the library: English Patient because I visited the sites where it was filmed in Tunisia and Girl with Dragon Tatoo because I just finished the book! Big water main break this eve so no water....should be a fun Christmas....required to boil water for next four days!

The sun is shining and a bit warmer day so after my morning walk I am sitting by the community swimming pool to work on my tan....but water tis a bit cold for a swim!

Woke up at 4am and walked out to see the lunar eclipse! I have been driving without heat/ac in my van and found that all that I needed was new vacuum hose and blower resistor.

Back at mum's near Tampa and it is raining!
4 - 17 December - Tampa to Miami to St Thomas for a bask in the sun (although it rained most of the time that we were on St Thomas!) Staying at Pavilions and Pools with our very own private pool! Also explored the island of St John and did the Reef Bay Hike on Monday before our return to the mainland USA.

Driving from Ocala Florida to mum's near Tampa. Heaps of rain last evening but temps are supposed to get lower for the next few days....quite windy crossing the water from Tampa to Largo!
