23 August 2022 Tuesday - Largo Florida
Morning walkabout at the Botanical Gardens then stop at local church to donate more of mum's dust collectors. Besides the thrift shop in multiple buildings, there is a small building with more upmarket items so stopped there this morning and met a wonderful woman who was busy cleaning my donations from the day before (Danbury statues from 1980's). It appears that all is going to good cause. Having not eaten much in past few months due to tooth extraction then some kind of bug, I had the 'hankering' for hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, and found it just down the street, delicious!

22 August 2022 Monday - Largo Florida
Change of venue for walkabout at Boca Ciega Millennium Park, but too many mosquitoes! Donation stop at the church then runaround doing errands. Having not felt well for almost three weeks with heavy cough, I am finally feeling a bit better to get out and about.

21 August 2022 Sunday - Largo Florida
Morning walkabout at the Botanical Gardens then fetched more boxes from storage, this time travel diaries. A much needed wash for my car, although tis easier now to just do a drive through!

20 August 2022 Saturday - Largo Florida
Visit to Whole Foods to stock up on my favorite Italian sparkling mineral water, although now at double the price. A bit of time at the pool, but still too hot.

19 August 2022 Friday - Largo Florida
Morning walkabout at the Botanical Gardens where they have started the construction of a $3m playground and plan to chop down all the trees, so very sad.

18 August 2022 Thursday - Largo Florida
Morning walkabout at Taylor Park then visit with mum at rehab and work with her to sign the admission papers, requires about thirty of her signatures.

17 August 2022 Wednesday - Largo Florida
Morning visit with owner of dental office where I had tooth extraction and to express my dissatisfaction with their service, in one ear and out the other, oh well. I have now made appointment with surgeon for consultation on getting an implant, but need to wait 4.5 months after extraction.

Morning walkabout at Botanical Gardens then met with plumber to finish install of bathroom faucet and drain.

Our mother went into the hospital with stomach pain but it appears after a series of tests that all is well.

I had ordered new spectacles but found that the eye doctor had given to me the wrong prescription, so now to wait some more.

My sister and her husband departed for home and I continue to cough and to have stuff nose, ugh!
